Obama Was Elected, The World Economy Improves?

Barack Hussein Obama is re-elected President of the United States for the second time after defeating his Republican rival Willard Mitt Romney. What impacts will an Obama victory for the world economy amid the financial crisis and debt twisted?

Executive Director of Economic Research and Monetary Policy Bank Indonesia Perry Warjiyo see positive signals Obama's victory. Obama re-election as the number one in the U.S. will bring a positive impact on the global economy, including to Asia.....

"For us, I think it will be positive for Asian in terms of global financial markets is also cooperation with the U.S. economy, which is already running well," said Pery at Grand Sahid Hotel, Wednesday (7/11).

With Obama's election, it is expected fiscal problems can be resolved. "How can it be completed late this year or early next year, it's a major issue that we are waiting for," said Perry.

U.S. economic growth is expected to be in the range of 2 percent to 2.1 percent this year. "Better than we expected," he concluded.
